Here at Mick Miller surfboards we utilize a technology known as CNC shaped surfboards. The machine is known as the Dino D made by APS3000 out of Australia. The machine is super fast and is hands down the most accurate machine on the market. By leveraging this machine it helps cut down shaping time by getting the blank to a more generic shape based on the type of board that is intended to be produced.

Mick still shapes 100% of his boards by hand. Think of this machine more so as his robotic assistant to help streamline the process. Custom boards are produced on a weekly basis and are made to spec per request.
